As a chef myself I would open a themed restaurant
Like a 1920's speak easy .staff dressed as gangsters and sporting Fedora's and serving Italian food
We would make you an offer you can't refuse .
Even have a name for it. " Capone's "" |

"I quite fancy opening a café/art gallery and stock it with my own work
what kind of art do you do? if you don't mind saying."
I don't mind at all..I make things out of wire, like 3d animals and birds..the wire is florists wire and coloured beading wire..
but I've recently been asked to do something erotic so I'm having a go at a naked female torso and boobs... |

Baking and deserts with a wide range of blends of tea & coffee... Quite like the name Tiffin's....and have a slightly correct shade of blue colour scheme just enough to not piss off an American jewelry company |

Finger foods, with provision of bowls, wipes and towels for cleaning, and no bloody double dipping lol!!
Furniture designed so that people eat in small groups, and a rule that, even if you are eating "alone" you are part of a group and take part in conversations. |

And I'd never open the doors. Wonder if I can claim capital allowances on a forklift?"

I would open a restaurant who's main focus is the children I.e children's cutlery, proper kids portions, child's food served not too hot, children's entertainers for those restless ones during busy periods etc. I find these things a big problem when taking my son out to a restaurant and it's always a breath of fresh air having a waiter/waitress who understands these things |

My parents came over from Sicily many years ago and opened a restaurant, I worked there for years as a youngester while I was at uni and make the best pasta, and I do mean make not boil out a bag so I'd probably open one with the same type of food as it's what I know best |

That's about a 10 Min walk from me, its proper desperate Dan style, you get a mixed grill in a shovel head and they put cow horns sticking out the top of the pies |

WOW! They're still going then?
The little pie factory and the little sauce factory were 2 Sunday hangover cure destinations for me in the late 80s & early 90s
The food was ace & Yes, big old steak & kidney pies with crusty horns in the top.
Good ale to wash it down too thus starting another Sunday session (No lectures for me on Mondays )
It's no wonder I'm such a fat bastard really then...... |

"I'd open a late night restaurant, but I wouldn't open too early. I'd be derided if opened my restaurant before 11pm. "
Think it through Jim, 11pm is just before the fun starts at most clubs, midway through most good gigs, and about the time another beer though a bad idea is the best idea in the whole universe...
Bad time to be going to work |

Ide open a steak house, but each table would have a hot stone in the middle with a burner underneath to keep it hot.then each person would get their steak served raw and could cook it themselves just how they like it.

Me and my friend used to go to a place in north cyprus where you got your meat by the lira. So you looked at what they had and bought so much of it which made is think of a place wed like to open.
It would be best in an old bank building and called the steak exchange (stock exchange get it) where wed have big tvs on the bored with all the different meats you can have and depending on how much is being bought of each the prices varies like the stock market does |
