That's a bit tenuous, I tried to stay away from 'why don't you turn off your TV set, and do something less boring instead'
While you mention that show, I now realise how ridiculous it was. A TV show that told you to turn off the TV and go out to do something else. So they don't want you to watch the show? |

Used to love that show. The message was way ahead of its time. Imagine trying to sell that concept to a production company now. 'yeah, so the idea is that we basically tell people to turn the TV of and go do stuff'.
'you tell them at the end of the show though, right?'

I get bored very easily so I've always got something on the go that I can just pick up and do to stop that.
I don't agree with the saying that only boring people get bored (obviously ). It's an easy way to avoid offering a solution.
Don't focus on fab and your sent messages, sort out other things that occupy your mind there are loads  |

I think i'll just try and get known in here. Be social you know.
I'm sure i don't tick everyone's box but some i will. Getting verrified is a big thing for single males, certainly new ones. Id like to have enough friends to go to clubs and events with. Whethere i'm WITH them or not.

I get bored very easily. I am surprised Fab is still exciting for me as the day I joined! (That was over 2 years ago)
If you concentrate on the negatives you will find it more difficult to get what you want. Instead use your time and energy to explore all the tools available on here. Try attending a few different events to meet people.
The event organisers, hosts and venues do all the hard work for you. All you need to do is turn up and engage with other guests. No need to message people and wait for things to happen. Take action and make things happen.
From there you will make some contacts and potential repeat friends who share similar interests as you. Then you will never be bored.
Just like everyone on Fab I have sent messages, friend requests, winked and blocked people. It's all part of the process in finding the right people for you.

Nah, I haven't got time to be bored! I've heard it can be pretty crap mind so it's not an activity I intend to pursue..
Seriously though, just send messages then don't bother checking the status of the ones you've sent, just read your mails as they come in, it's all I do. I can always fill the time saved pointlessly checking for stuff I'd rather do instead. |

I'm also guessing from the OP's username that he's a Chelsea fan so as such the less boring distraction of an actual fight for the title has also been eradicated this year whilst the other "big" teams all trip over their own shoelaces... |

Was it any good, I didn't get past the turn off the TV bit. I was a very compliant child. |

I think you've highlighted a bigger problem.
You seem to be EXPECTING replies.
Never expect anything on fab.
You've done your bit in sending a message. If you get a response from anyone, consider it a bonus.
No one 'deserves' a reply on fab.
There could be all manner of reasons why you're not getting a reply, including, and I know this is going to be very difficult to believe, but that they may, in fact, not fancy you. |
