"I have three dogs, three snakes and some ducks (although I don't think I really class the ducks as pets).
Ducks make wonderful pets, I miss mine "
I have 4. Three have turned out to be drakes (I hatched eggs). I'll buy another duck and then eat the drakes at some point. |

Can't be any harder than training a greyhound, they are so arrogant and ignorant, a bit thick too I think |

"I have the cutest, chubby female ragdoll cat. She means a lot to me. "
I'd love a ragdoll. We have 1 cat and a ruby shark, on his own in a 2ft tropical tank. I am waiting for him to die so I can get rid of the tank (the fish were an interest of the ex that he didn't take with him 2 years ago ) |

To be fair, I'm surprised that my dogs haven't eaten the ducks - the terrier definitely wants to.... |

Yep, We have a bearheaded longhaired American Akita too. Hoovers don't really touch the stuff it's like Velcro! I keep an old pair of trainers and don them to moonwalk round the carpet collect it all up by hand and then hoover after. He's five in March & currently nine & a half stone. He tells you he wants to go out by coming up and gently "handing" you till you give in.

yep my daughters is the same, i always have her when they go on hoilday etc, i remember the first time she stayed over coming down in the morning and it looked like somebody had got a packet of cotton wool, fluffed it up and thrown it all over my floor, i actually did think it was cotton wool i though one of the kids had left it out the dogs had attacked it, then i realised it was the dog never in my life had i seen such a thing |

We have always loved dogs. Like cats but love dogs. Remember going on a meet years ago where the bloke called the dog pup. Brought it down and it was a newfoundland shepherd. Bloody huge but very good natured. |

Far from "thick" Greyhounds.
All the sighthounds are highly intelligent - the chase instinct causes the ignorance.
Nothing more. |

"4 year old Shih Tzu, brilliant dog.
Didn't the Tebetian monks use them to guard the temples because of there high pitched bark."
I thought that the dogs they used were Tibetan spaniels ir terriers? I had a friend years ago who bred them, and they both have a high pitched yap/bark. There is one breed that used to be kept in the long, wide sleeves of some variety of monk in the east, I think it might be Pekinese, but am not certain. |

I've got three rescue boy cats - two gingers and one black - but that doesn't feel enough and am hoping to get two black girl kittens at some point this year. Luckily, my house is in a very quiet location with fields and woods right outside the door so that's not quite as mad as it might first seem! |

At one point we had five cats here despite it being a tiny house, but like you we back onto open fields with a copse in the corner so we rarely saw all five at once..Pain in the arse when you did though

I had three cats for many years.
Then a year ago I found a cat dumped in a bin so I had four cats and that seemed like a lot of cats.
Then in October an old lady cat basically moved herself in and it was getting cold out and I didn't have the heart to leave her outside so I kept her until I could find her owner. No chip, no joy from posters, Facebook posts, door knocking.
So now I have five flippin' cats. |

He is a wee bit wary of them but likes them. He'd a bad experience when a hamster stuck its teeth into him as a kid. My two love nestling in my hair and sniffing my ears. |
