There and to the left a bit |
Can be any number of reasons - perhaps after chatting to you for a while they realised there was no connection and it wasn't going anywhere. You'll probably never know so no point trying to over think or analyse it - just move on |

I don't class that as a time waster, just someone who has chatted and decided they don't want to meet. Time wasters to me are people who repeatedly cancel at the last minute or stand people up. |

Yes I've had a couple of those lately. We seemed to be getting on well but then, suddenly, bam gone, friend deleted/blocked whatever. A simple thanks but I don't think this is going to work would be fine , but this is just plain rude. |

"Whats the crack with people adding you as a friend chatting to you for a bit and then going and blocking you I just dont get it sometimes "
that is not time wasting, that is people expressing a preference..
they added you, looked at your pics, didn't like what they saw and blocked ...possibly you had a lucky escape or they did |

It could be they weren't really females or various reasons.
And every guy on here thinks he sends "polite messages" but a lot don't. They think because there's sex involved they can get crude before we want.
So then, or for any other reason, you decide not to chat any more.
And then you block so he can't give you grief about it and then tell you you weren't his type anyway |

I had one yesterday do that to me! We met twice and in between them 2 meets he kept letting me down then a few days later messaging me with an excuse.
Anyways yesterday we where talking loads and I messaged him saying I'm ready after he messaged saying he was horny.. he blocked me on here, and snapchat... not a clue why! Why can't people just be straight up with you!! |

Sometimes people deserve to get blocked for whatever reasons but what a lot of people on here (especially newbies that just join to wank over the pix) don't realise is....
When they are chatting with someone, they are actually typing into a machine and for some strange reasons they seem to think that their actions don't matter as it's only a machine!
Some take it to heart and get upset, while others just shrug it off and carry on as normal.
We all have feelings, machines don't. If you chat to a machine to get your kicks, you'll never understand. If you chat to the person to make a new friend or acquaintance you will. |

People who invest their time into getting to know others well, before selecting those that are appropriately matched, are not in my belief doing all parties anything but a big favour.
Blocking is standard practice in fab, once it's clear that there's no match.
Assume that you'll not find a both ways good match with most people you develop chats with. Play the numbers game, so odds work towards getting you actual meets. |

It's just how this place works.
It's shit getting blocked by someone you thought you got on with, and I'm sure we've all had it happen. If someone blocks me, then it certainly wasn't meant be. I kind of see blocking as a god send, saves an awkward moment down the line if they have to let me down.
I'm not a blocker btw. |
