Rangers and Celtic wanted that but the English teams cried and cried about it. That was when the old firm were genuine European class though. |

I don't recall any crying.
Celtic would make a decent championship team at the moment.
Rangers would struggle in the Vauxhall conference.
If they had both joined the premier league Scotland would have more than likely lost its national team. |

There was tonnes of crying. Mainly from the shitter sides. And it would not have destroyed Scottish football. We could have implemented rules to prevent it and don't forget at that time, Scotland had good players, just not a good squad. |
