A world of my own |
There is just something so indulgent about soaking in a hot bubble bath in the middle of the day.
Locked doors, candles, music and it feels like a proper escape from the world.
What do you all do for some "me time"?

Gotta be the same as you OP a nice hot bubbly bath candles and music. Sometimes wine too.
Other times it's a drive up a mountain to a beauty spot in the summer..Feet up on the dash..A picnic and the radio, watching birds soaring about.Or down by the river sat on a tree stump watching the water and listening to the birds. Oh..Also down by the beach watching the starling cloud and roost under the pier. God I love where I live ..Plenty of options for peaceful me time.  |

When my children are with their dad i often just sit in silence, no tv, no radio, just peace and quiet.
I used to enjoy really hot bubble baths with a good magazine and keep topping up the water to stay hot, but not since we moved in with my mum. |

I usually don't wellies drag the hound of the Baskerville's off his settee and wander round the fields for a few hours.
If the weather is crap I can usually be found cleaning my tools & tidying in the workshop which the children are banned from under pain of death

I watched the whole of season one of Black Sails like this last year over two baths.. looked like a prune each time I got out though
