Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

At a wedding yesterday, the usual Frank Sinatra "My way" ending, we all think it's over when suddenly the dj slips in one last song..

Chas and daves "there ain't no pleasin' you"...

We were all a little shocked at this, why.. What the fuck was he thinking?? A song about splitting up at a wedding? What an ejit, at least wait until the first anniversary for that!!

.

Have you been to any parties where a dj has dropped a total bollock?

I think it shows a sense of humour!

But no, i've only been two weddings in my life, and at one of them the grooms family had a blazing row with the bride. That was entertaining!

the day that Kurt Cobain died, i was working in a record shop so we played lots of nirvana obviously...however when "come as you are" came on we all looked at each other wide eyed when we heard the lyrics 'i don't have a gun'

I think it was someones idea at humour, had the bride not been off her tits pissed, she may have taken offence..

The groom was none too pleased though I believe as his comment was "what's that c##t playing"

If only Mr Cobain had payed heed to his own lyrics, who knows what other great music Nirvana may have produced..
