I completely understand people's preference when being sexually attracted to others but just read a profile that states will not meet people that have "been" with black, Asian or yellow! Can you catch colour like you can catch the gay now? Wow, what century are we living in?

I've stated my preference really bluntly then been hit up by the pushiest 'sub' I have ever seen, demanding that I should fuck his black ass because that's all I would want after. He even wanted me to tie him up.
Apart from the fact I'm pretty much mainly sub, bottom and I like a specific type of guy. So I did find it quite insulting that I'm gonna just, abandon what I'm after coz he says. And hammered me with mails. I did block. |

When I give blood I am asked if I've ever had sex with a man who has had sex with a man. How the hell am I supposed to know? I don't sit people down with a questionnaire before I shag them.
I guess people go through others verifications to check who they've met, but that level of dedication to researching meets is way more than I could be bothered with, and also indicates a level of bigotry that should not be part of swinging. |

Yeah they do think anal sex is in the questionnaire to. It's because it's high risk in the NHS risk assessment for blood born diseases. |

yes, unfortunately. Bi and gay men are trying to get that changed as the prevalence of AIDS is reducing in those communities. I have also had a blood transfusion but have managed not to ever catch CJD. |

It's a bit harsh then to say a lot of people are massive racists!! As you don't know many yourself and just get that from fab profiles. I'm not saying that to be nasty. It's just people are always quick to chuck the racism net out, so when I hear it i ask that question. The answer is always the same they don't know anyone who is racist and can't remember the last time they witnessed racism. My opinion is the media enjoy creating racial tension. where as Joe public could not care a hoot on someone's race. X |

I wouldn't ever put anything like it on my profile. I don't think there's any need. We all have things we like/dislike but I generally like people who are positive and cheery rather than those who make really rude demands. My face is crinkled as I reply even thinking about spending time with someone who described another human as yellow. |

Being a first genration immigrant myself i witnessed it first hand a lot when i was young, not so much as an adult, im not sure if thats because peoples attitudes have changed over the years or because its easier to pick on a child, but it is still out there |

Wow I didn't know that! I've always wanted to give blood but can't because of medication I'll be on for life. But now if for some reason I ever come off it I wouldn't be able to anyway! You learn something new everyday as they say!
I would have thought there would be tests you could have on the day? They're crying out for blood donors but are losing a lot of donors just by not accepting so many people!

I like white, I don't hate any other colour but in my bed it's all pasty. Saves me blocking if I say things like that.
Dunno if I would go as far as excluding some one who ain't picky in the way I am though. |

I am not the media creating racial tension I am Jo (mixed race) public who doesn't usually care and did experience it growing up and still do occasionally now, but am shocked there are still people with that level of separation/segregation of people who mix with others. I'm baffled! |

I don't have many racist people in my life because I'm an educated person with a good job and, in my experience, that attracts fewer racists. But I'm friends with and related to people who have been subject to racism, and I have no reason to disbelieve them. I've witnessed racism in terms of people shouting things in the street. I haven't been convinced of anything by the media; just because I'm not friends with racists doesn't mean they don't exist.
And I'm not sure what part of "won't meet anyone who has ever been with anyone black, Asian or yellow", which is what prompted this thread, could ever be construed as anything other than massively racist. |

I'm sorry to read that. We don't all behave badly. It makes me cringe that humans can be utterly vile to fellow humans.
I've never been subjected to any form of prejudice because I'm a pasty Scottish person so I can't really imagine what it's like to be on the receiving end of such foul behaviour. I do however believe in speaking up when I hear it. I hope other people do too. |

I'm not literally surrounded by it but I come across it enough out there, with Joe Public (who apparently don't give a hoot about my race) and on here in ways that are bizarre and unnecessary. This has included me being accused of lying to people by not stating my ethnicity on my profile as my picture "looks like you have a tan", being invited to a parties and having the invitation rescinded because others attending wouldn't go if there was a person of colour there and, my favourite, a message from someone saying they wouldn't meet Black and Asian asking if they could meet me as they wanted to try someone of colour.

How is not wanting to meet anyone who has ever had sex with someone black or Asian a sexual preference? I genuinely don't understand how that would work. I have a sexual preference for tall men. Do you really not give a fuck? because i found it tedious, i remember when i was a kid i always had mafia jokes thrown at me, asking if my dads name was don this that or the other, have people say things like dont upset her or she'll leave a horses head on your pillow ( WTF really), never ever seen the god father but i can quote it almost word for word the amount of times i had quotes thrown at me, people talking to me in the typical hollywood mafia accent, infact i still get that now, soon as i say im from sicily the accent comes out, why do people do that? its boring

I've stated my preference really bluntly then been hit up by the pushiest 'sub' I have ever seen, demanding that I should fuck his black ass because that's all I would want after. He even wanted me to tie him up.

Perhaps it was for pragmatic reasons? Some racial demographics have many fold the number of STDs than others. I wouldn't mind being with any race. Just Google the the stats for an in depth breakdown.
In any case, it is free speech, even if you don't like it. It could be racist but shouldn't it be challenged rather than just removed? A very ham fisted approach. And inany case who decides? Especially if it's not inciting any harm or violence. |

Just to go back to the person previously talking about giving blood . The system is ridiculously out of date . My ex husband is from East Africa , has lived here since he was 16 and had many clear sti checks. However while I was with him I wasn't allowed to give blood as if had sex with someone born in Africa . The lady did then tell me that after I'd not had sex with him for a year I'd be able to donate again ?! |

All blood is tested after its been donated anyway, so seeing as there is a huge blood shortage in my opinion they are turning away thusands of people with perfectly good blood, surely it would be better to take but from anybody whos not an obvious risk, like those who are known to have infections that can be transmitted and just throw anyway any blood that cant be used when testing it after
