Spent years watching the Japanese version, so the UK version just looks so lame.
I'd love the Japanese version to be rerun here, but the voice-over was done by one of the kids sex scandal presenters, so that's never going to happen! |

I love the Japanese one with how mad some are, one guy had loads of bars all over the roof of his tiny flat and went room to room not touching the floor. And the guys in the orange boiler suits who are like super ambulance/firemen cool as fuck. |

Japanese. All the way.
The at that they set the challenges and don't care if no gets through. It's an annual challenge where there is genuine Kudos to get through; not the best of the contestants get through regardless of how mediocre they are.
Fastest mediocre doesn't equal ninja warrior! |

My observation as well.
The US version tend to go for time whereas the Japanese contestant tend to be more careful and take their time.

Love the US version for eye-candy purposes though
