Yesterday it was Under your thumb by Godley and Creme.

Today I'm reminded of A boy named Sue by Johnny Cash

Which is your favourite story set to music?

Camouflage is a fantastic song... but you can't beat Squeeze's "Up the Junction" and "Labeled with Love".

"What about Craig Davids' 7 days."

If you enjoyed that try Lttle Musgrove by Planxty. It's the same story sang slightly diffently.

Marty Groves is my all time favourite song but this comes pretty close as well.

Its a brilliant song. I remember a youtube comment saying that this song had something for everyone; sexual attraction, betrayal, jealousy murder and regret.

The Days Of Pearly Spencer and

Mr. Mudd and Mr. Gold by David McWilliams and Townes Van Zandt respectively would be my suggestions.

The ultimate "Story Record" has to be Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds. In my opinion, it's undoubtedly one of the greatest musical works ever created.
