I'm off to see American Idiot - a musical using Green Day songs for those who don't know - tonight, and although it's just an amateur production it should be good.
What's the best stage show you've seen? I'm torn between The Rocky Horror Show & Woman In Black, which was in a 100 seat theatre and was pretty terrifying at points! |

Iceland, but Aldi is closer.. |
The Blues Brothers was great, everyone up dancing and singing,
Dirty rotten scoundrels with Robert Lindsay was really funny and the Producers was laugh out load but because it was so wrong...
Spamalot, well it's monty python, what more d'ya want.. But the best show I've seen by a mile has to be Aladin..
The stage changes and costume changes were seamless, the effects amazing and the Genie was just great.. Disney at its absolute greatest... |

Phantom of the Opera is my most favourite, before it had even finished in knew I'd want to see again.
Our house - the Madness musical was very good too, one of the most energetic shows I've seen, plan on seeing it again when it tours later this year. |

I'm not sure. Wicked with Idina Menzel when it first came here, Avenue Q, Hamlet (David Tennant) The Book of Mormon, Les Mis and King Lear (Ian Mckellen) and a production I saw of Festen at the Fringe a couple of years ago. I can't decide, apologies. |

I love Idina Menzel. Very jealous that you saw it with her . Wicked is one of my favourites even though she wasn't in it when I went |

In the last year few months I've seen Tristan and Isolde, The Barber of Seville, The Caretaker and No mans land.
T&I was visually stunning but the one that stuck with me was The Caretaker. |

I'd have to say warhorse , the puppetry was stunning
The lion king too was amazing , I took a friend last year and she loved it too.
Oh And a woman in black, only 3 in the cast. I was sitting in an aisle seat and properly shat myself when she walked past me |

I saw American Idiot twice in London and once on its UK tour. Was pretty good ... my teenager is now obsessed with Green Day.
War Horse probably had most impact for me ... every last movement was so realistic you forgot they were puppets. I just bawled all the way through it though . |

Opera Norths production of Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore and their production of Queen of Spades were stunning - stagecraft and musically superb.....and a few years back we saw a Damon Albarn musical as part of Manchester International festival - that was unexpecyedly amazing, m x |

"Oh, also Danny Boyle's Frankenstein!
I quite like theatre. "
This was the best one we've seen. We saw it when Johnny Lee Miller was the monster, he was fantastic. Cumberbatch was ok as the doctor. |
