The lure of the straight guy

So, we look at a lot of male profiles listed as bi or gay and there is one common thread that runs through many of them ... that is, the line 'seeking straight guys' or 'seeking bi/str8 guys'

What, for a gay or bi guy is the allure of such ?

Does 'gay' still make people uncomfortable ?

Do gay guys do something with a cock that a bi or str8 guy doesn't ?

Or is there a chance that 'turning' someone or maybe being their first is a turn on ?

This is not a grumble, it is an open question that as two people,(who have pretty much spanned the sexuality spectrum), still don't fully understand

I guess there is no definitive answer, but it would be interesting to see individual takes on it

I think it panders to their vanity to think they are leading a 'straight' male astray, or introducing them to something taboo.

Forbidden fruit is the most alluring l suppose. l had a gay friend on here talk about it. He said that straight guys are a niche for some gay guys.

I would say so

I would also say that many gay guys peruse as bi on here to increase their chances

Interesting point

Vanity ? Or ego ? Or are the two interlinked ?

Personally, I quite like married/partnered men. Just get an extra special kick from that ball of desire, confusion and lust.

But that's just me.

As a matter of interest, do you ever get women trying to meet you for sex as you're listed as gay on here?

"Are there straight guys on fab?"

Fab straight guys.

A straight guy I know did once say he was of the opinion that a blow job is a blow job regardless of what it's off.

I pointed out I'm probably prettier than a lot of the ladies who've sucked his cock.

He asked if I would like to go somewhere quiet with him.

I said 'no' because I'm pickier than him.

And a rotten tease, I really love teasing

Perhaps they are hoping to obtain that undiluted essence of pure masculinity, untainted by effeminacy, that so many straight-acting gay/bi men desire.

Loads of gay guys are so masculine they make straight guys look like a buncha sissies and pooftahs. Big chunky body builders and skinheads and stuff.

Older one here - As a single member, I previously met women as part of a bi mmf and as a gay/bi male both socially and sexually

As a couple, we have only met fems in the social context

There's always time though

I do believe there is an element of that - the presumption that gay guys are always effiminate

I think also there is some comfort in meeting someone who you perceive to be on the same page as you and that by actually living with a guy, being in a full on relationship with a guy is just a step too far for some to get their head round

And I do understand that

I think they just like the challenge but if accomplished it just becomes delusion for both parties. I find if laughable when I see it, it is just a fantasy.

To be perfectly honest it doesn't matter to me whether the person describes themselves as straight, bi, gay or whatever.

It's none of my business.

It's just two people who want to have some good, sweaty fun.

Straight guys don't verify tho'

I make the point to never go for straight guys here. They said straight so respect that choice. But if straight man contacts me FUCK OFF. I deal with shit from girls and sometimes guys for being bi so you wanting to play around and still get the freedom of not being 'bi'. Fuck off

Me and the OH cross swords about this a little

He regards the reluctance to be truthful about your sexuality as internalised homophobia

I think sexuality is a little more fluid than that

I agree with you about male sexuality being fluid. I've been very attracted to feminine trans women that blew most of the women on fab away, in terms of attractiveness, even though I knew deep down they were male.

On Fab, as so many guys don't label or describe themselves as having same gender interests, then I can imagine that if these reported gay men seeking sex with straight men are likely to be getting short changed.

It's been a long standing slur against them that they are predatory and seek sex with those that they shouldn't. It used to be said to be illegal partnerships. It could be perceived perhaps that the potentially homophobic slur has just altered its content slightly now.
