Who used to enjoy going to this museum in Manchester when we were kids?

I always enjoyed going there in my childhood as there was always something fun to do. I even went there on my own sometimes as I got older.

never been to that one, might have been skiving the day our class had to go.

museums tend to be good though, seeing parts of history is usually interesting.

yes I used to go and when my child was younger, and we still lived in Manchester I used to take him too

the world museum in Liverpool, is a much better place to go

york is good as well. massive that place, i went for a whole day and didn't see everything.

Yes its a good place. Although the sewer area wasn't that great.

I miss Granada studios tours which was fab.

Also if you remember back to the 90's the Armadale had something cállese light fantastic in there. Nostalgia eh?

Never been to York, thats now on my 'To-do list', but the world museum is excellent!

P.s... Museum of Science and Industry is a huge disappointment now, went a few months back, and it was garbage.

never been there, used to pass it a lot when my son was being seen at alder hey. wish we'd had time to go in now.

Awesome. I went there a couple of times as a kid. It was sad to see it close down though

It's even worse now as the making of Manchester, gas gallery, electric gallery and underground Manchester parts of the museum are closed off to make way for new exhibits for next year
