If we cood it wood help all the real members of fab. Cos real members can worn others about dojey profiles.
It wood also work as a deterount as any time wasters / trols / ect
Wood soon stop cos everyone will no hoo thay war.
I wood very mutch like a admin or mod to explain y no one is alowed to name and shame simpley to help and worn overs on site ? |

Because I could say something about someone that isn't true.
There would be nothing to stop me.

It says a lot about your integrity and honour that you can't imagine how naming and shaming could be abused by ne'er-do-wells.

What would there be to stop me saying that I had arranged to meet you and you hadn't turned up? Nothing, it would be my word against yours.
A lot of people accuse others of time wasting just because they won't meet them or change their mind after a few messages.
That's 2 reasons it wouldn't work, I am sure there are others! |

Because imagine I messaged you and asked you if you fancied a meet and your reply was an honest 'no thank you you're not my type'
In a fit of pique and fab outrage I might then go on multiple threads and name and shame you out of spite

You can't name and shame as you cannot prove if they actually did what they were being called out for. Even if you did there could be a very good reason as to why they did it.
Would you like to be named and shamed on a forum where everyone is judging you based on a thread one person has posted? |

There's 3 sides to every story, yours, mine and the truth, so it would just turn into he said, she said, it would be abused and pointless. |

You can report people, and I believe IF multiple no show, or nasty message reports turn up against a user Admin will close a profile.
But of course it takes minutes to create a new profile.
Name and shame can't be allowed as some people would use it dishonestly, which could spoil the site for all the majority of genuine members. |

It's not acceptable to name and shame on the site.
If you have an issue with someone you can report them to Admin and they will look into it.
The explanation as to why you're not allowed has been explained above. |
