Harsh but true.
Some people don't get jobs because people like you leave their wages in plain sight. It sucks but you gotta be more careful. Don't leave stuff that's worth something in your car. |

I'd have thought that the mobile phone folks could identify which handset had the stolen top-ups applied to it and put a stop on the use of the credit.
That wouldn't neccessarily identify the phone user but the handset could be blocked from ever being used again.
It's even possible it could be traced by GPS but whether the cops would bother is a different matter. |

"But why not get a real job????
That IS their real job. In many cases they're more 'professional' than a lot of people of Fab "
This sadly is true, a lot of thieves are highly intelligent and can come up with the most elaborate scams to make money, and a very profitable and lucrative business is it too. |

My sis in law left her car parked at the crematorium yesterday while she put flowers on her mums memorial. Only 30 yds from the road, yet a scumbag smashed her side windown and nicked her handbag and laughed at her as she tried to catch up to him.
Even in death you are not free from crime. |

This has been rife in the wa5 area of Warrington for over two years now, same thing happened to me and 3 other cars from our cul de sac. So Now I leave nothing in the car, having said that two of the cars were damaged quite badly. That was the only plus of leaving the car unlocked

I just cannot understand why anyone in this day & age would leave a wallet/handbag/anything valuable in a car - especially in plain sight!!!
I'm sorry, but that's just plain stupid and really can't complain when they are stolen.

Well that's more or less what the plods said to me. My excuse, I was just forgetful.
People across the road leave their house unlocked all day, so the kids can let themselves in after school. |
