I have never understood why so many wait until the last minute for this. The date hasn't changed for years and you have 9 months to get it done.

It's supposed to change to the new digital system from next year (I think) which will mean quarterly returns.

I did mine before Xmas and got a nice rebate of nearly £1500 so it paid for everything.

I don't understand it either. It's not even my tax return! My problem is getting the paperwork and figures from my other half. It's been the same for over 10 years... I should never have taken on this responsibility!

I don't understand it either. It's not even my tax return! My problem is getting the paperwork and figures from my other half. It's been the same for over 10 years... I should never have taken on this responsibility!

Straight to the accountant who does my folks books and returns. My little one takes him minutes and it saves me more than it costs me to have him do it.
