"Would you still fancy the person who had spots or would it be off putting?"
Not a put off some but I think is just fair to mention on your profile so people decide if you match their meeting criteria. You really don't want to waste their time by showing up with your face full off micro eruptions.
You know what?! You can always change your username to Spotted Dick. |

"Flippin' heck you lot.
How lovely if you're reading this and suffer from spots. I get a few every month, before my period. "
I never realised I was such a social leper that I ought to put it on my profile to save anyone looking at my pictures the trauma of seeing a spot. |

Spots happen. If it's going to put you off meeting someone then add it to your profile. Don't be surprised if a meet gets cancelled at the last minute because those pesky spots appear when you least expect them.
My Father absolutely hates it if I get a spot. Even at my advanced age he will tell me to do something about it if he sees a spot on my face.

I never got them badly but every now and then I'd get a huge and really sore one that would be there for ages, usually on my nose.
The joys of being a teenager. |

I don't get spots that often but when I do omg!
It would put me off someone if they had constant acne, I know that sounds bad.
My son asked me to get his this morning. It was quite satisfying |

If it's that big a spot you've got then you could always give it a name and open a couples profile ?
If my kids ever had a huge spot they would always be asked "who's the new friend" by their loving siblings !

I don't really find anything that's unavoidable unattractive
It's not something you can control, it's not something I've ever suffered with which is quite surprising as I have really oily skin, I spend a fortune on mattifying creams and blotting paper, I hate photos as I always have a really shiny face |

I used to have oily skin and I started using Trilogy rosehip oil. Using an oil means that your skin doesn't overproduce excess oil. It's so fab! |

Just in the process of changing my profile. Wouldn't want anyone meeting me and then finding a spotty arse |

Spots are one of the main reason l haven't been proactively meeting. I have a few on my forehead and it does dent the confidence after a while.
I had a disclaimer on my profile for a while.

I'm fortunate in that I hardly get spots, due to my age rather than good management. However I have a much larger issue than spots that I'm self conscious about.
None of us are perfect so no, it definitely wouldn't stop me from meeting someone. |

"No it wouldn't put me off because I'm an adult.
Wow is this thread for teenagers, it's like being back in school. I get the odd spot but hasn't bothered me since I was about 16"
Bully for you, I'm 31 and I still get them. I don't think it's something I should be ashamed about. |

In real life most people get the occasional spot... but there's a difference between a spot and adult acne so maybe that would provide different responses ?

I very rarely get spots (one of the few advantages of being an old fart) but when I do they're huuuuuuge!
A few months ago I got an enormous spot on my arse! I called him Kevin. Kevin had his own gravity field! |
