What's a bus doing in the square? Nobody works, they all drink in the pub or scoff bacon at the cafe. Everything happens within walking distance. I'm surprised TFL bothered to put a service on there. Who'd have thought it.......TFL using bad planning |

Annoyed me a bit tbh. The bus was wedged under the bridge but they still managed to lift it. Surely the emergency services would have waited to check the bus for other people underneath first before performing such a move. The bus was never in danger of blowing up. It was only the top of the busame that caved in and the engine is at the back and is diesel. There is also an isolator switch at the rear which is normally very visible. And how the fuck it managed to get to that speed with how compact the square is, I don't know. It would have certainly hit something else regardless of what Denise did to try and help.
