Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Fabio enjoyed it too and claimed he's had to hand in his man card.

When did enjoying some song, dance and romance stop anyone from being a man?

I enjoyed it from the moment the curtains were opened wider and the screen said 'In Cinemascope' and they started with a big group song and dance number.

He learned to play the piano for the role.

The leads weren't the strongest dancers and the choreography isn't the best I've seen but for a modern musical film it felt right.

I have yet to see it , though being a dafty wanderer I will probably wait its its on DVD , which isn't too jolly long these days.

I am still a massive fan of west side story , the music and the dance .

Plus I don't remember ever being issued a man card , and I was a boy scout

Wahoo! I didn't know tickets were out on Monday. Coincides nicely with pay day. Another trip to that London will do nicely.

A wimp obviously, I feel so free now though. The world is my oyster, I might even get Alice Winger to skip to the shop

Possibly, but that might get them in trouble with the EU.

After all, there's been one hell of a battle over the rights to the use of a certain frozen food supermarket lately

YOU DIDN'T SEE IT ON THE BIG SCREEN? It's in Cinemascope for a reason.

"A man card."

This is the sound of a penny finally dropping.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VCDWYr0hvc

I've never though about myself in such a heterocentric fashion before, as if only certain things are permissible to enjoy as a straight man - I've never been like that. Bi, innit.

So the OP and the rest are saying they liked a film such as La La Land, which would normally to be precluded from the red-blooded male mindset, has actually shown them that they don';t have to conform to pre-existing gender constructs to enjoy something different.

However.

I'm not watching it tho'. Too gay for me. Cba with musicals.
