Now l'm just looking to paint. l picked up a mini of an orangutan smoking and reading a book. Think it was a discworld mini. Orange dry brushing - here we come! |

Fred is into painting not sure what but it's from Games Workshop, the most annoying bit is when he asks me to pick something up from there, they always recognise me and always ask if what I'm purchasing is for myself - I swear they think I'm a closet geek |

The miniatures industry is going from strength to strength these days.
My brother in law is a mouldmaker and casts miniatures for companies all over the world. Some of the best stuff he has done over the last couple of years are for The Assault Group.
He has links to loads of miniatures companies on his website if you want to see what is out there. Just google the mould maker dot com |

I'm that cunt who brings necrons and uses a canoptek harvest formation
Also necrons warriors + ghost ark
And vargard obyron and nemesor zandrekh only take up one HQ slot
Everything that dies just gets back up on a 4 or 5 plus |

"Just seeing how popular the hobby still is.
WarHammer and War Machine"
The batman miniatures game is really taking off now.
My club has a big following for it. Knight models casting leave a lot to be desired though |

I want suggesting you were having a pop, it was a joke back at you
40k is ridiculously complicated to play and takes a long time to master it.
Hundreds of rules, on the spot maths, hundreds of different models each with it owns weapons and gear, all with its own set of rules....you can see where it going with this
It'd be great if more people got out to gaming clubs and socialised than sitting at home looking at a screen.

Used to enjoy painting miniature figures, when my eyesight was better and I had lots of spare time.
Never got into the games (Billy no-mates), so I just bought figures which I found visually appealing. There's dozens of them somewhere - just stuffed into a box, in the garage. |

"Good to see many people enjoy.
Waghhhhh dirty necrons "
Great aren't they!
I've got loads still unpainted that can't quite be arsed getting round to
A unit of 10 lychguard (boards and swords set up)
I'm also a big fan of putting 25 flayed ones in a unit and watching people cry when I get to roll 125 dice |

Ex GW staffer here xD
Still even own 1st ed whfb and wh40k books.
Used to have space wolves, undead (before they split into tomb kings and vampire counts), wood elves and high elves.
Tried to do a Stealer cult force but stopped playing.
Had some mordheim and necromunda stuff as well as a couple of bloodbowl teams and a few copies of spacehulk for epic maps.
These day's I only bother with frostgrave and rogue space as I'm to busy working or running larp XD |

I used to as a teenager - I was pretty decent at it too.
I went into a Games Workshop shop a few years ago to reminisce and asked them how business was in general and they said it's actually gaining popularity again as their customers have gotten older and have more cash to spend. |

I go to a few gaming clubs when I can be arsed and at one I'm the youngest there by about 15 years. Some of the old boys have collections worth in the region of £10,000 plus
Going back to the old wood carved models |
