I go to Slimming World.
I have friends who do have that after weigh in binge on rubbish but i dont personally do it as i feel its starting the week off on a bad foot.
The syns/points allocation starts again as soon as you step off those scales so why waste loads of them straight away meaning a reduction of daily syns/points for the rest of the week? |

"I tryed that but used the whole day rather than from after waighing to bed time "
Do you have a morning group?
Someone explained it to me like a bunch of flowers
If i was handed a bunch of 21 flowers (to reprosent 3 meals a day for 7 days) would i throw the whole bunch away because there were 2 rotten flowers?
My answer is no, id just remove the dead flowers... so why waste the whole week because youve had a few dodgey meals?
Its all about will power and determination. You choose to pay a weekly fee to a person to assist you with a plan to lose weight.. why waste money and a great oppertunity?!
Have a badly choiced meal.. write it down, how you felt about it, but draw the line and move on |

I've never done Slimming World so no idea how it works but WW uses points, you get daily points and then weekly points on top so I'd save all my weekly points for Saturday and during the day on Saturday I'd eat very low point foods so I could have wine, takeaway in the evening.
It worked for me, I consistently lost weight and lost over 50lbs in total. |

I do slimming world and I have weigh in day off. I think you need a day off as dieting gets depressing, it keeps me on track to as I don't cheat through the week as I only have to wait till weigh day. I know alot of people who do that. |

If you have an Iceland near to you they have a great range of meals including some currys that are totally syn free. Boiled rice is also free..
So you can still get that Indian you want and save yourself a whole load of syns.
at your next meeting your consultant might have the 'fakeaways' book for sale in the shop or the SW currys book.. both have had great reviews. |

Yoyo diets don't work guys
The day you no longer feel like your dieting/on a diet but still have your food intake under control is the day you've cracked it |

My youngest brother does SW and lost 4 stone in 4 months with one cheat day a week.
The outcome has been exceptional, I never realised the amount of crap I was eating day in day out. |

I did slimming world for a few months last year, over the summer I think. My weigh in was a saturday, after weigh in I have a total cheat day, ate whatever I wanted. Didn't count them against my sins for the week or anything, just started afresh on the sunday.
Lost over a stone and about a quarter. |

I always have something nice either friday or Saturday... I always syn it. And dont worry about it. But its one meal... not the whole day..
If ive done really well 2lb or more i treat myself to an individual pavlova from sainsbury or morrisons.
Im over 6 stone down in total now. So it works for me and i never see any food as a cant have.
I have a passanda after most chams visits .. with poppadoms.. and all the trimmings.
We eat out sometimes twice a week.. and i often grab lunch on the go.
My weightloss averages out at 2lb a week.
Just had a bad bad week where i couldn't get my head into gear... but managed a maintain...

"I've been 101% good this week and lost nothing'. I will soldier on "
i finding writing every single thing down helps me.. sometimes just knowing ive got to write it down stops me wanting to actually eat it
nibble it.. scribble it |

"I've been 101% good this week and lost nothing'. I will soldier on keep going at it we all have our ups and downs buymt I was super good last week and lost another 3.5lb "
nice one!
i had a chinese take away Friday night and generally a rotten day Saturday, so sun, mon, tue, wed, and today have been about damage limitations.
retaining crazy amounts of water (my ankles n legs are well puffy) so guess i'll settle for a maintain, but accept a small gain |

Following Slimming World very loosely, still have the occasional takeaway and packet of crisps (nothing like what I used to have) for around 3 weeks now, and down 8lbs.
But, also been to the gym, so some weight back on for muscle, I guess... Thats what I'm telling myself when I feel disheartened anyway |

I looked at Slimming World last year, not for me,woman running meeting more a sales woman pushing their products and had the handbook learnt of by heart.
Meal plans were far to hard to follow, choice 1 from this group,2 from that...took for ever to read handbook than to cook anything...
But did loose pounds...£10,id rather stick to gym thanks |

You get one dairy choice, one bread/cereal choice. As much fruit, veg, pasta, rice etc as you want. As much lean meat/fish as you want as long as you remove the fat or skin. Then you get syns to spend on the naughty stuff.
What's difficult to follow about that? It really couldn't be simpler! |

Seems a pretty pointless exercise if you just pig out after being weighed. Its about changing your eating habits so you can lose weight without the need to pig out!! Stick to the plan and be healthy and slimmer quicker! |

"Just done my first week at WW and down 4lbs hit the gym a lot this week aswell ( struggling to walk upstairs haha) but I have pcos so I'm super happy with that loss"
4 lb is fab!
Be weary that when you start to substantially increase activity you may have a slight gain or not lose as much as you'd hope for. Its not 'muscle weighs more than fat' (even though its true) its because the body retains water to protect the torn muscle while it heals and builds bigger muscle
Will all pay off, plus you get 'off scale victories' as i like to call them. |

Slimming world and if you make your own fries it's free" I love the sw fries. But my favorite is anything with roasted butternut squash or butternut squash in general.. have it for spaghetti.. mashed.. lol for every thing x |
