Not what you where named but what you could of been named. I was telling my son on sunday that up until the day before he was born he was going to be called cain. Him and his girlfriend both creased up laughing. I thought it was a nice name.
I was going to be called juliet but mother changed her mind at the last minute |

Since when did people allow singing groups to name their children? I mean, did they ever meet you? Come to the maternity ward?
Or did you mean that would be your full name

due to my dad watching "Conan the Barbarian" the night before he registered my name, and thinking it sounded cool, i was very nearly a Conan! thankfully he seen sense and realised my mum would have killed him if he'd done it. |

Well I would of been sandy my dad had a thing for olivia newton john plus I was born the week greese was released. And my eldest would have been sophie even had that name on her little tag but when she came out she looked like a rosie. Rosie red cheeks dark hair most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Looked like she had been born on a farm. So Rosie by name and usually by nature. |

Mine didn't get changed unfortunatly. I spent most of my childhood wanting it to be different though.
My little girl was always going to be Georgia, somehow she ended up as Sophie 5mins after being born. She's now called Sushi most of the time. |

I was going to be Sarh Louise if I was a girl. So was my younger brother but he escaped it too!
My son Cameron was so named as we were following a truck owned by Cameron Haulage on the way to the hospital. Thank god we didnt follow one from Norbert Dentressangle! |

My parents couldn't decide so I ended up with both names which are similar!  I hated my first name as no one had it so used my middle name as it was more common.
Fantastic...until my teacher read a story about a hippo with my name!  Wasn't the smartest decision I've made.
I reverted to my first name when I was 20. Anyone that calls me by my middle name has known me a mighty long time, even my sisters use my middle name. |

I was supposed to be Daniella, not sure what happened to change it, My brother was supposed to be Damien. I was told they spent ages teaching it to me, as the big sister, then he was born on friday the 13th and his name was changed
My daughter was going to be Aaron, until at 32 weeks, the scan showed something missing hehe :D |
