The converted church is called the pitcher and piano. Its in the lace market area of the city which has loads of good bars and restaurants.
You will find the city pretty quiet tonight. It's always lively at the weekends because of hen and stag parties.
If you're looking for "adult" entertainment and fun you won't find it in Nottingham. There are no swingers clubs or organised socials, there is only private meets. I do know of one couple who organise monthly gangbangs/bukkakes. |

The lace market probably isn't for you then, its not really geared towards rock.
The only places i can think of where you might find live music is The Maze or Bodega. They do sometimes have gigs at The Bell in the square but its usually jazz or folk. |

When i used to live there, the old angel used to have a rocking juke box, Rock City was banging, there was a total dive punk bar called Fosters.
But you have to check out The old Salutation and ye old trip to Jerusalem. Both great bars.
Oh and there is a kink munch held at the Salutation twice a month. |

Trip To Jerusalem is a pub that's built into the rock below the castle, enjoy some real ale there, then go to the Salutation which is not too far away, before heading to Rock City. 
At least that's what us bikers did back in the 80's & early 90's before getting the train back to the civilization that is Derby 
You could also visit CS2 if you fancy a walk on the wild side |

Avoid pitcher and piano unless you want an expensive drink in a bar (yes it's an old church) but it has no atmosphere ) go across the road to dirtys always has live music and is great . Other good bars pit and pendulem has hard rock and metal. Tap and tumbler has stuff like guns n roses and late 70s rock . Also check rescue rooms as they have cheap live music.
Club wise rock city is the way to go . |

gutted.. went to tilt.. it was ok.. but not rocking.. so heading back to the hotel.. wish I had seen sooner.. night in for me.. thanks though |

Gosh can tell some people on this thread haven't been out in Nottingham in years! Fithys opposite the pitcher is a good shout for live music its a top bar and usually some hot women in there! |
