"We've decided to give it ago to stop smoking cigarettes, any tips to make this a successful venture?!"
Yes plenty... I found the pen type of vape equipment didn't work for me so ended up with the slightly larger kit. Been off ciggies totally. for a while now. Tasted one recently and hated it.
Don't be afraid to experiment on flavours until you find something you like.
Only Go to reputable dealers (ones backed by the trade body) until you get into it. Lots of folk make there own liquids and they aren't the best. There are a few High street places that are a few national chains. They can be a little more expensive than some of the online stores but generally better quality.
The advice from some of the high street places is to cut down your smoking whilst you get used to vaping. I.e in the beginning do both.
Valing for the first time can feel very harsh and dry you out. But stick with it.
My health is the best it has been in about 20 years. I can actually climb stairs again lol. |

"Make sure your about when you charge them up !!!!! "
Reputable supplier don't tend to have the battery issues that some online places do. I would advise always buy kit (in the first instance) from a high street chain as then you are covered by guarantees. |

Since you're in Leeds, get yourself to SMKD in Thornton's Arcade. I always use the one in Bradford, they will offer advice.

Most places do a discount for three or four small bottles of oil. Take advantage to try a few flavours. I have found the uk made ones are better than the foreign shite. I quite like vampire vapes 'pink man' and 'red energy'. Careful with aniseed flavours for some reason some of them will crack the plastic tanks on some vaporisers.
I also found rather than the little pen ones a box one, some are not massive gives me the choice between normalish vapour intake to replace the quick buzz of a ciggeret and the choice to do a really quite good puff the magic dragon impression. As you are going to try to use it to overcome a nicotine addiction don't start with the low nicotine oils straight away, you will be chaining loads just to replace one fag. Go medium or high then tone down the physical intake, using less vent or air, then reduce the nicotine after your comfortably not peggging all the time. |

There and to the left a bit |
Went from cigs to vaping overnight and haven't looked back in 8 months. All previous attempts to quit failed miserably.
As others have said go to a vape shop on the high street and take their advice as to what's best for you. |
