"Sounds good to me...
Could be Rey, could be Luke...
Or, don't forget, Jedi can also be used as the plural so it could mean both..." I'm hoping they find a lost band of them somewhere or episode 9 is going to be shite |

Come on, this is Disney now. There'll be LOTS more than that" this, they have already fitted a film perfectly between 3 and 4 |

True. Though it still bugs me they have the Death Star plans on Geonosis during the start of the Clone Wars when Galen Erso would have been maybe 15ish and he's supposed to have designed it |

Actually he didn't design it. He only designed the Death Star laser |

"Star Wars is a 2-dimensional space opera/merchandising/special effects driven extravaganza with a plot so thin it makes Victoria Beckham look Rubenesque.
Most overrated film franchise in history.
"
It most certainly isn't. |

"Overrated" is mostly down to opinion. Fine you're obviously not a fan. But some of us are. If anything, its one of the best franchises when it comes to fandom and giving stuff to fans. |

Mmmkay...
I know overrated is kind of a shitty word, and I’m not an enormous fan of that concept in general, but I don’t know how else to say it. The ratio of quality Star Wars to the excitement of Star Wars fandom is so out of whack that the only way to express it is ‘overrated.’
The reality here is simply mathematical. Out of six Star Wars films two qualify as good. That leaves four poor-to-terrible movies, an overwhelming majority of the series.
If you picked a Star Wars film out of a hat odds are it would be rubbish.
It’s hard to think of a franchise with the pop culture weight of Star Wars that’s so generally miss rather than hit.
Let's put it this way: the Fast and the Furious franchise has a better ratio of good entries to bad entries. A way better ratio.
Maffs, innit? |

It's one of those things. You either like it or you don't. Like any other fan base, we will defend it (well most of it) until the day we die. If i want to comsume all things Star Wars and spend my money on it then I should be allowed to. |

Why does this matter? They give us films, tv shows, books, comics, merchandise etc. Not alot of "franchises" give as much material as Star Wars |

"Just how rich is George Lucas?
Too fucking rich!"
About George Lucas. George Lucas has an estimated net worth of $5.4 billion as of April 2016, according to Bloomberg.
That's a lot of multicolored bits of plastic |

Not really a huge surprise, and it does make a lot of sense, given the storyline of The Force Awakens and how it ended.
I kinda knew that episode VIII was going to be pretty much all about Luke Skywalker.
Hopefully Mark Hamill will actually get some dialogue in this one, lol |

Again, they don't "give", you pay, and make George Lucas & Disney lots of money, for a load of recycled crap. How many times have they blown up the death star now? |

Yes i pay. So what? What I meant was that most franchises only give u a film every few years. Where as Star Wars now has one every year as well as books, merchandise etc. You obviously don't like it but that doesn't mean others can't. I don't like alot of things but I don't tell those that do like them that they're wrong etc. |

I was going to buy you a BB8 as a gift too.
For some of us it came at that point in our young lives when we went in a good way and we've loved it ever since. We see the flaws, we know the flops but we still enjoy the concept and most of what we consume.
