A few years ago, when I started restoring my old house in Wales. No phone, and no mobile signal except at a farm gate half a mile up the hill...
Long weekends delightfully cut off, although I did think what would happen if I had a serious accident...  |

End of last week. I changed phone, forgot to register my SIM so was contactles for a day, then had to wait another 24 hours while the new one registered. Still kept my number though so it was worth the wait. Although my typing is now shocking while the keyboard gets used to me. |

Last time I was walking in the Black Mountains in Wales & wanted to arrange a point near for H to meet me with the car, eight miles extra I had to bloody walk before I found a phone. I'd already been walking for ten hours!!
