Carcinogens are indeed all around us. Apparently it is inadvisable to eat anything well-done...no crispy pasty...crisps...and yes, even slightly dark brown toast...

Especially at good bit of steak if you're out with me, not because you get the C but because I really hate seeing a good chunk of beef wasted.

Buy a f@@king burger if you want well done meat!!

I think it was only starchy food actually, it's something to do with overheating the starch

The gov'ment ain't gunna tell me what I can eat! I'll burn every damn thang if I wanta!

Seriously, though....all of our food comes prepared in plastics, some food is even cooked/microwaved in plastics - the same plastics doctors say not to put near children....and burned parsnips is what's going to give me cancer?

a quandary, could you change my mind?

One of my pleasures in life is properly crispy roast potatoes, not just coloured.

I will have to continue doing this or give up on roast dinners.

Just have it all with ketchup.

Tomatoes are a strong source of free radical scavengers!

Too many E numbers and preservatives in that stuff for it to be remotely healthy apparently.

Unless you make yer own

I read somewhere that dead bodies (not burials) decay a lot more slowly now than they used to. It's the preservatives in our food.

All food is made of chemicals.

Everything on earth is made out of chemicals.

Chemicals are not bad per se

Synthesized chemicals that don't appear naturally may have all sorts of as yet unknown effects. There are many in the home, some tested and some not. Cocktails of these can run into the thousands and are definitely an unknown danger.

I sure fire thing that causes death, that no government warn you about, and we all do it.

It is truly scandalous that despite ALL scientists, ALL Doctors and even the bloke down the pub know it, but no government has offered any useful advice to stop us taking this risk. Getting born, it's 100% guaranteed to cause death

Anybody else notice how most of these warning studies never really give our full info like % increase, they just say "An increased risk" so 1% is an increase as is 0.00025%

Means naff all except to the people who some smuck is giving the money too for this awesome valuable information..

There are now people who just go from study to study to study to then state the blooming obvious to anyone with an IQ remotely resembling "adequate".

I'm waiting for the "There's a 14.285% chance you'll die on a Tuesday" study shocker..

Can you not see the paradox?
