Ok, I know there a few of us on here who cycle a lot, I'm looking to get myself some new long cycling pants, I already have a pair but they've got that padded bottom that looks like you've not made the toilet in time, can anyone recommend a decent pair, oh they have to be black too as the ones I have are a cross between an electric and dark blue which does give a few members of staff here a right laugh when I'm wearing them.

"Why would you want to purchase cycling gear that doesn't have a padded arse? Have you experienced saddle sore before? "
Thanks for bringing back unpleasant memories |

I've been cycling for 20 years plus, I don't get saddle sore, the padded pants aren't that comfortable for me. |

My advice is keep the pants but wear some cool looking baggy shorts like us mountain bikers
Unless you are racing, tight fitting cycle gear is pointless have no idea why the roadies wear it other than a spandex fetish |

Don't be afraid of the dark side, no idea why mtb riders insist on wearing stuff that gets caught on your saddle and slows you down.
Unless it's to cover the bulge for some reason |
