Whitburn

Apparently the plan was to film it in black and white. I think the monochrome version is included in the special features of the Blu Ray, or you know, turn the colour off on your tv...

I think that scene made all the movie

Is that the movie where a group of people get trapped in a store by some killer must or something?

Same here as the guilt of living what he did would be hard to live with, stephen king did the movie.

Stephen kings done some great book/movie adaptions. It's cool because he usually has a little cameo appearance in some of them.

I'd check out the langoliers and pet semetary if you haven't seen them already

One of my favourite films, and yeah I agree the ending is superb

The funny thing is, that ending isn't in the original story. The story ends with a diary entry saying that they'll just carry on to see if they can find the edge of the mist and it's up to the reader to decide if they make it

Obviously that doesn't work in Hollywood so Frank Darabont wrote a new ending, and even Stephen King said that he wishes he'd come up with that instead because it's much better than his cop-out "I can't think of anything" ending

It's an excellent film. Pity the box artwork gives away the twist at the end!

One of my favourite lines...

.

As a species we're fundamentally insane. Put more than two of us in a room, we pick sides and start dreaming up reasons to kill one another. Why do you think we invented politics and religion
