need some real advice

I have just had a shower and found a lump in my testical i have herd that if it right on the testi it could be cancer mine isnt its just there not attached so i googled it and they say that it dosent matter were it is it still mayb cancer can some one please let me know what the truth is im slightly worried i will be goin to see the doc tomoro

If you shave down there it could be an ingrown hair which can fill with puss under the skin... and never google health related stuff.. You are doing the right thing by going to the doc's hope evrything is ok.

You have answered your own question, don't believe anything you have read on the net or anywhere else go and see the MO in the morning and get it checked out.

Your doing right going to doctors. any lump should be checked out. It could be anything from an ingrowwn hair to a cist. So try not to worry to much yet(i know easier said than done)

Its not an ingrown hair its inside the sack not attached to anything so i think a trip to the doc i hope its just a cist or somthing

I have obsessed over testicular cancer for many years, and am only 21.

Firstly, most lumps are NOT testicular cancer, it's a rare thing, however still does occur.

I have a lump on my right testi, and I had all the symptoms of testicular cancer down to the letter (after searching on the internet).

After I went to the doctors he said i dont think it is that, and to go and have a scan as a routine check

Turned out it was a cyst.

My friend also has a lump, not attached to this testicle, just in the...sack...This is also a cyst or something like that and they are very common.

Don't think it is cancer, as it's 90% not.

Don't worry, keep cool, as it testicular lumps are more often than not not cancer, there can be lumps from anything to twisting in that region, to stress, infections or just a cyst.

Calm down, and don't worry. Go to the doctors

I had all the symptoms of testicular cancer and scared myself rigid after googling for info.

Saw the doc and he asked me if i did any sports, told gim i cycle a lot. Turned out the 'heaviness' and numbness i'd felt was a thickening.scar tissue around the nerve sheath in front of the testes - diagnosis was buy a different saddle!

The only internet site I'd ever recommend for health related issues is nhs direct. You're doing the right thing in going to get it checked out.

Calm down. Most lumps are benign. I also have been told that if a lump is free moving and unattached it is usually harmless. Always get a lump checked out but its extremely unlikey to be anything to worry about.

If in doubt get it checked out!!!.

You only have one life and its yours to look after. Knowing what it is is a hell of alot better than worrying yourself silly. You really are doing the right thing.

We can all deal with things once we know what we'r looking at.

I dont think you need advice your call about it is bang on,definately doctors,

if its reassurance about it you want, we cant ,even if we were all doctors we would still need to do tests.

It's probably just a bit of gristle but worth getting it checked out if only for some peace of mind. We always think the worse case scenario when it comes to lumps and bumps that appear but most of it nothing to worry about.

p.s. if they do have chop one of ya nads off make sure they don't replace it with a pickled onion cos it'll fuck up ya sex drive no end but when you see a cheese sandwich.....

as other have said get to the docs its the only way you will know for sure.

Also let the OP post be a heads up to all guys, check yourself regularly.

anything suspicous get it looked at, your GP will not care if its a false alarm (mine was - turned out i had felt scar tissue form when i had the snip) they would rather you get early and fast diagnosis and treatment
