I like the forums a lot. Have ventured into chat for the first time tonight and its funny. I have no clue what is going on. I wonder if it seems hectic there as it is Saturday night.

I used to enjoy chat rooms when I was younger (other sites) but it's too much of a cluster fuck for me here and it's mostly just men trying to get the attention of the only female on cam.

I popped into the chat rooms now and then when I was a newbie. I found I was ignored if I just typed and inundated beyond what I felt comfortable with if I turned my cam on. Then I discovered the fora and here I have remained apart from a brief foray to the Canada room. Never say never though.

More than that though I like to take a few min to decide how I'm gonna structure my sentences n which words to use n such.

When I put my foot in it I like to do so eloquently!

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Chat always seems more cliquey - one has to invest more time getting "known" to not get ignored, and in the meantime it's a smorgasbord of men trying to persuade the perceived hottest woman on cam to either view their cam or pm them exclusively.

All of which is more than I'm willing to put up with.

So I stick to being ignored on the forums!

I tried the chat rooms twice a couple of years ago and the experiences scared the shit out of me.

Quite apart from the multitude of do's and don'ts, the feeling of "what the hell do I do next?" and feeling utterly lost with no-one to turn to, I got the impression that newbies are totally ignored.

You have to be in the "club or clique" of those regulars to get anywhere. Chat rooms are impersonal, suiting some people but left me utterly bamboozled!

Forums every day are the way!

We'll always have a soft spot for the chat rooms, it's where we met!

These days we don't use them much. Real life tends to get in the way and the ever increasing number of cam bunnies is very off putting, stops the conversation flowing when the room fills with those desperate to engage with them.

These days, chat is just an occasional thing for us
