you forgot the head off to A&E bit after the planks move and you go arse over tit into a pile of bricks   |

Watched whatever Saturday morning show was on, then it was round to a mates house, get the gang together and we'd head off to our local woods where we'd make shelters, rope swings, climb the trees to see who got highest, play army with the cap guns.
That would last until the sun started going in and the curfew (streetlights coming on) hit. |

Massive Saturday morning paper round , then collect my weeks wages ans spent most of the afternoon in a local record shop ans scanning sounds music paper for gigs  |

Exploring....basically wandering about looking for mischief to get up to!
If there was an unsecured building site,scrappies,derelict building,gypos yard or farm within 5 miles we were there building gang huts n throwing stuff about n smashing stuff up! 
Then home at night to watch either a Bruce Lee (who else!) flick while high kicking n karate chopping the air,or some 18+ gory horror like Nightmare On Elm St/The Reanimator/Critters while peeking at the telly through my fingers at the scary bits!  |

These were pre teen activities of course!

Wake up get breakfast and out the door before 9am with a football.
Used to be about 10-15 of us that would all play football for the best part of the day.
If it was not football then it was going up the woods in the summer and jumping into the fresh water pools. |

I used to cycle to the stables and muck out 7 horses. Saddle Dolly up and go for a hack. Cycle home. Chores. Then spend my earnings on cassettes and Cover Girl makeup. |

Swap shop or tiswas to start the day n into town hanging around as teenagers still do.....
Then back home for dinner n the a-team,airport or catchphrase....
God am getting old  |
