"Any got any magic ways of making a cold disappear? This one is driving me nuts!" I'm losing track of who is Jon snow now. There isn't room on the forums for 2 Jon snows who know nothing so decide between you who will change their name |

I usually go the "spicy food and whiskey" route, but this latest strain is tough to shift. This did it for me:
Vicks Vaporub slathered on your chest and the soles of your feet (t-shirt and socks on over the top). Pop a couple of Night Nurse Cold & Flu, hot water bottle on the chest. Sleep for as long as possible. Repeat as necessary. |

I'm also a whisky hot toddy gal.
Freshly squeezed tart lemon juice and two curls of lemon rind into your favourite mug, chopped up nub of fresh ginger, hefty slug of whisky, sumptuous teaspoon of manuka honey and top up with boiling water.
Drink within a cosy bed nest or in front of rotating open fire. |
