We have always had the outlook that we would only add friends if there was a definite potential of a meet or after a meet. We have relaxed this way of thinking recently and have added people who suggested they were interested in a meet with us. However, what tends to happen is that they add us, frequently look at our pics but no meet ensues. What do you think is the best approach and how do you do it yourselves ?

Hiya, I'm sort of experi mixing the same however I'm also chatting to a few people and havento keep checking the profiles to remember what they like and don't like to save the embarrassment of asking a million times and them getting annoyed so that may be why people keep checking back. Your profile is great very informative about what you both like and are into but it is a lot to remember for people I guess. Only my thoughts not meant to be offensive or anything.
If you change your mind and like white guys and larger ladies look us up lol

My friends list is populated with people I like who have suggested sending a friend request or send me one. I never send a request without a prompt like this. The key criterion from my point of view is that I like them |

"They probably add you to look at your private pictures I reckon lol"
The thing is we display quite a few pics in the public gallery and if we add people we do so with the intent to meet not just for them to look at our pics

I don't have friend only pics so I avoid the pic hunting friend requests.
I add people to my friend list if we've chatted and are potential meets.
If nothing happens I just unfriend them! |

I never accept a friend invite off people with no private pictures....it puts me off as they are normally collectors who once they have seen your pictures....they bugger off |

We don't really arrange to meet people any more, and we have never arranged to meet couples. However we attend a lot of parties, so we might 'friend' people if we think our paths might cross at a party. We're not very interested in on-line chat, so if we were to rely on that happening then we'd probably have very few friends. There have however been occasions when couples have expressed a interest in us, and we've returned from the compliment with a friends request, only to have the request refused. I guess we should have had a more substantial chat first. Oh well.

Blocked another yesterday who sent a friends request without even attempting to talk to us. Are we alone in thinking that these requests are from males who only want to see pics with no prospect of their partner or wife (if they have one) ever actually joining in the activities?
We accept friends requests only from those we have a real prospect of meeting and delete after a couple of weeks if things don't progress.
Are we being too tough?

Confuses the hell out of me. I was chatting to a seemingly nice lady. She friended me, then a few days later blocked me. No idea why. C'est la vie I thought. Now I'm not blocked, but no longer a friend it seems. Do you think she's playing hard to get. I'm only a man I don't do thinking! |
