Anyone ever watched a horror movie and felt that a gory death scene was over the top?
I thought that at the end of Alien Resurrection when the Alien Newborn gets sucked out of a tiny window in a very gruesome way. It was pretty over the top especially for an Alien movie and the newborn's screams were pretty unsettling as well. |

My neighbours invited me in for a film showing - Saw was the film
We didn't approve. And hubby was sent to get an alternative. I think films have gone beyond my limits for representing gore and so am careful with what I watch. |

I get what you mean about films going beyond certain limits for representing gore. Horror movies today seem to be more focused on gore and scares than have a decent plot with good character development |
