Who knows about television signals and stuff?

I live in a city centre apartment in an old building that has a satellite dish. We can only get SKY or TalkTalk.

I've tried SKY and because the setup is old, it's impossible to watch one channel and record another and I hated their setup.

TalkTalk is also crap. I lose signal whenever it's drizzly or raining and because I won't pay for the engineer to park his van to come and take a look, it still crap.

I've now resorted to freeview and it's also crap. Pixelated. There is no splitter or signal amplifier in place.

Can anyone help?

I think it was about £15 with a 3 month entertainment pass. Asda had a deal on around Christmas; might still do?

Hi we got our Fire stick for £25 on black Friday, they are only £35 normally, we already had Amazon Prime which from memory is £70-80py. I put Kodi on it yesterday which after a bit of faffing works great & we watched deadpool last night with no issues. Lots of tutorials on YouTube on how to do it..

I think I'll be approaching that route soon and just watch something on my laptop if I choose. So much money to hand over for not a lot of stuff.

Is it your own sky dish or one dish distributing throughout the building?

If it's your own sky now do a box to watch one channel and record three, if it's through one dish that's distributed throughout the building get onto to landlord, it's what you pay the service charge for!

I've been through this with SKY and the building owners and nothing will change.
