"Why is it when u take a look to see who near on the see who's near search facility it puts people who are 50 odd miles away within a 5 mile radius "
In one instance for me, a couple were in my area visiting family but that was finished and were "just looking" on the off chance of a meet locally, before they returned home! |

How can you tell where they are?
Their profile will give you two distances:
"Distance: 10-15 miles away (20+ driving)"
This is the distance between the location on your profile and the location on their profile.
"Right now: They are on mobile, 10-15 miles away"
This is the distance between your phone (if you have Who's near on) or your profile and the current location of their phone. |

Do you message them all and ask them wear they are?
Maybe they lied?
GPS on phones isn't always accurate and if attached to wifi can go off the wifi hub which may or may not be in the area. E.g. Public wifi can be on a network which is tied to a central "location" which could be anywhere.
Many options. Nothing with technology or people is fool proof |

Switch on 'location ' in phone settings or top bar depending on phone. Sometimes you might have to allow it in privacy settings. |

You come up as only 60 miles from me. It must be your postcode is similar to an English one |
