Finding it very difficult to have a conversation on here where the total word count in four messages is 16.
It's not difficult,if you want to sleep with someone say more than words.

I suppose it can depend on how you approach conversations aimed at expressing your interest in another person....
Some people seem to only favour a blunt approach whereas others might prefer softly-softly approach ......
I guess we cant all please all the people all the time ......  |

We had a guy message us, and over 5 messages we had a grand total of 18 words, 6 of which were spelt wrong, and they then told us we were too hard work, or to hard work as he said |

Every reply was a fully structured sentence with enough leads for the other person to pick up and run with. It was all there for them to show that they would be an interesting couple to meet but no, not a thing. If they are boring on here then I cant imagine what they would be like face to face, what with anxiety and nerves thrown into the mix as well.
I just figured that people would be more confident behind a keyboard. |

We can express ourselves a lot better with face to face communication. You can obviously see facial expressions.
I always worry about writing too much in personal messages, so tend to keep them short, which may come across as not interested or boring. Which we are far from. Xxxxx  Suzi |

Didn't think of it like that.
Guessed they were interested since they sent the first "how's you" message. Usually when I get those I write an essay in response. |

I try not to get into conversations when I'm tired. Then I think people will think I'm rude because I'm not answering them. Sometimes I just want to hang around the forums chatting crap. |
