I love it. My neighbours cook it all the time and it's torture, smelling it and not having it.

NO!

Sadly, I'm seriously allergic to all types of spices, peppers, garlic and such like. It means all forms of Indian, Far Eastern, Chinese and similar culinary styles using spices are strictly off limits to me.

Should I inadvertently eat spices, I run the risk of my throat swelling up and either causing uncontrollable coughing fits till I black out or I literally cannot breathe!

I have to watch danger signs and avoid like the plague, have to scrutinise food packaging etc, and eating out can be a nightmare at times.

Oh yes! I made a Chicken Madras on Friday, but ma favourite to do is a Beef Buffad. The recipe I use involves quite a lot of prep, but it's worth it in the end

All I seem to do is chop up onions, garlic and veg. I'm getting much quicker and found new knives helped. Lost a few fingernails though.

. We enjoyed a lovely one cooked for us by a couple on here who wanted feedback on their culinary skills whilst we were keen to get tips on the lifestyle.

It's my favourite food, I have an 'Indian cupboard' in the kitchen full off my spices and seeds.

Cooking it can me as enjoyable as eating it
