Mines fairly long but I hate sleeping with my hair tied up, it feels too uncomfortable on my head. Can't say I've ever nearly got choked by my hair though haha |

I have shoulder length hair now, but used to have it halfway down ma back in the 80's complete with ZZ Top beard (I was a biker and the chicks loved it), it used to get a bit matted at times, especially if I didn't tuck it in correctly and it was streaming out behind me at 130mph
Usually though it was easy enough to keep in good condition, and the chicks loved it |

Mine's pretty long these days but I only tie it up before bed if I'm sleeping with it damp and want curly hair in the morning. It's never been an issue for me but people I have shared beds with sometimes ended up with a mouthful of hair in the night. |

i tie mine up, even though it's a lot thinner these days, otherwise it's still often a tangled clump in the morning.
just putting it up on my head will do. don't have to do plaits unless i want it curly. |

When I wear my hair curly I pop it up in a little top knot, when it's straight I leave it down.
Mines not long enough to choke on, it just gets me hot as it's so thick. |

Most of ma exs have had long hair and to alleviate this kind of problem I just wait until they start snoring and trap it inbetween the pillows. Problem solved |

I find it uncomfortable tied up, but it does get in a mess by morning love the colours you use on your hair |

I always leave my hair down when I'm sleeping. I shower before bed so when I leave my wet hair down it can sometimes dry with nice waves (sometimes!).
I can't put it up when I'm in bed anyway - it gives me a headache. |
