verifications - hidden name??

Was just thinking about verifications and thought that if there was an option to hide your user name on a verification you leave, would more people leave them??

This is especially for women as, I'd guess, say you have a meet with a dom guy but not as a sub just a normal type meet, then does every guy see that veri and think he can dom you?

Just a discussion, not suggesting anything

I hardly ever leave verifications and I don't mind if people don't leave them for me..

They aren't the be all and end all..,

I would much rather make my own mind up about someone myself rather than be swayed by what anyone else had written

I'd rather not bother with a verification if someone didn't want anyone else to know they'd met us. Own it or don't bother would be my feelings on the matter.

I've yet to hear a case of someone wanting to meet someone because of a verification, but I've heard countless occasions where a person has been put off by a verification.

If I didn't want people to know I'd met someone I wouldn't verify them.

"I've yet to hear a case of someone wanting to meet someone because of a verification, but I've heard countless occasions where a person has been put off by a verification."

So, beyond actually verifying that the person exists where is the benefit of a verification?

Personally I like them as a shared memory or maybe to show a private joke.

I'd probably leave more veris if my name wasn't attached. There are one or two people on here who've grown a bit too attached, so I'd prefer if they couldn't identify who I've been with.

Yep and numbers of.

All I want to know is did they turn up, were they roughly the same age and size as their photo.

I thought that was the benefit, so we know they showed up and are who they say. The rest is subjective.

And for that you don't need verifications to be a written description and review of what you did. They don't even need to be displayed. Just the summary would suffice.

Yeah they could just do a tick box thing with an option to add comments?

They might all say

"Mr and Mrs NC turned up, three hours late but at least they made it. What can I say about her, there's certainly more to enjoy than her photos show...about ten stone more. I'm sure she was once 60 but that was in the heady days of the last century. As for Mr. I suspect when he's sober he can hold quite a good conversation if he remembers to bring his teeth."

Some may see removable teeth as an unexpected bonus

Lots do not show veris anyway...so I make my choice by reading their profile and looking at the pictures first.

No, I think they're completely pointless and more hassle than they're worth anyway. I don't have any problems from hiding mine.

its probably a better system for single guys tbh, as there's so many time wasters here, at least it (to a point) proves you do show if you arrange a meet.

Atm I think our veris are quiet possibly the best thing about our page. I'm pretty shit at writing the profile, but have been trying to word a completely new one on & off for the last few days.

But all should be taken with a pinch of salt in my opinion.

As far as we're aware 99% of people would leave a veri anyway.

Hiding the name seems a bit pointless and a nice tool for fakes to verify themselves.
