I'm the world's worst with toothache, and as others suggested to me last year... get yourself some co codamol 2 tabs at a time, 4 hours apart
Worked wonders for me, nothing else got near the pain. |

"Sorry but u got to go to dentist tomorro, emergency appointment!! Instant pain relief!!" 7 weeks to get an emergency appointment here as I need sedated xx
The pain has eased now (cocodamol x 3) and 2 bruphen and a whisky x yes I know it's bad but I'm sore lol x

I'd use an anti-inflammatory medication for likeliest greatest effect and potentially some other types of painkillers, such as codeine and paracetamol, for a cocktail party. It would depend what I had in my bag.
But I focus on multiple pain killing strategies but also aim to find the lowest effective dose. Start low and move up, only when needed.
Oil of cloves is effective. You could potentially use a short term local anaesthetic around the area too, which would numb sensations - needs a trip to obtain.

Toothache is the absolute worst agony cooled, boiled salt water as a rinse and something hot on the side of your face might help. Hope it feels better soon x |
