I'm always curious when on a mobile device and finding people within touching distance.

I usually do this in a hotel when alone and I have had the odd very close person in a hotel bar.

Last year a guy was stopping in a hotel close by but signed off before we got to chat. We chatted at a later date and he would of been up for it.

Have many people on here had a surprise meet up just by being near to someone when on a mobile device.

What's the closest it ever says? Mine has said within a quarter mile, is there a closer one?

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I've never managed to find someone in the same hotel. I have managed to find someone who lived just behind the hotel though.

Had a guy message me before asking if I was in the same hotel.

Makes a difference from 'do you let guys suck your cock'

I have when I have been in a hotel bar. I look around to see if I can guess who it is.

"What's the closest it ever says? Mine has said within a quarter mile, is there a closer one?"

Quarter mile is the closest it will show.

Brighton - even Hove!

1/4 of a mile. I thinks that's far enough for safety and discretionary purposes.

How would you know? Unless you're in the only building within a 1/4 mile radius.

I don't use locations services, it's my business where I go, not random guys after a postcode shag.

When both myself and the mrs are online sat in the same room that's the distance we show from each other, our living room is 13x10.

We we at a gig in Birmingham in December and I got chatting to the lighting guy who was with the band.

Turned out he was staying in the same hotel and we sat opposite each other at breakfast.

We've just put our phones together and it still said quarter of a mile, so don't know how you've had touching distance, platinum member?

Tried this at a hosts house a few weeks ago whilst sat in the same room as them, it said within quarter of a mile not within touching distance. Is this a feature that only shows if you are a gold member and not silver like us?

It's well known that once logged on, the distance locator doesn't like refreshing accurately. Logging off and then on doesn't always work either. Best way I've found is opening Google maps and finding your location with the circle button but that's not always a cert. But believe me, touching distance is the nearest then within quarter mile.

I find it creepy, generally don't use it. Had people message me, tell me their really close and then expect a meet because they're close.
