New drama on BBC1... coming soon!

Trailer looks brill!

I may even buy the book and read it first!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I saw the trailer.

The book is brilliant. I made loads of people read it after I read it. In fact, someone didn't return it.

It is so good you have to read the penultimate page twice to check you have understood the denouement. I am a little worried that the adaptation will mean they have to be more blatant, but I'll probably still watch it.

I know nearly all the places in London where the story takes place, including Apple Tree Yard.

Horrific ending. Makes you think a bit doesn't it about what we all get up to on this site. There are some dreadful predators out there and it's a twist in the tale of an affair that required a huge amount of thought.

I haven't read the book but my guess is that switched off camera wasn't switched off after all and is used in evidence in court by the rapist to try and prove she was asking for it.

Of course I could be wrong but that is what lawyers do. They get people off.

Have just been thinking the same thing! A guy who you think is so nice can suddenly change without warning. Great programme though and shows that the more mature lady can still pull, even if she is a JBILF

London and France

Can't see the point of it;

It was mostly shagging in back alleys.

The story and plot of the whole thing is a bit obvious at the end.

It's just a story of unintended consequences and a series of events that interlock.

Well the very end of the book took me by surprise, maybe I'm just gullible. But then I enjoy a story of unintended consequences and interlocking events (some of Ruth Rendell's books, for example) because that's how life works.

It was stronger and better nuanced in the book. It was the bit that I kept wondering how they would do it.

"That was good drama.

I still think you should read the last three pages and then decide what you think of that last scene.

"

I'm still going to try and read the book. In about six months I'll have forgotten the ending.

"I think i need to read the book."

Walked past a book shop today and it had copies stacked right in front. Someone still has my copy.

Great story

One thing that bugged me was Yvonne's voice, it was all whispery and annoying

"Can't see the point of it;

Did you ever read " Demon in my View" by Ruth Rendell?

What a great read!

There and to the left a bit

Rather enjoyed that...didn't see that ending coming though although made for a good twist and in fact proved to be thought provoking about the context of it.

Demon in my View was her first novel I think published in the 1976

We were of the same opinion.

First two episodes had us hooked but we were very disappointed by the end of it and could quite easily have turned off but had to watch it all the way through.

I wasn't a fan of the story but I do fancy Ben Chaplin so I watched a good chunk of it with my hand in my knickers.
