yes we have all had bad hair do's at some point in our lives...
those experiments that you thought were "cool" at the time, but looking back you think "what the fuck was i thinking!"
so yes... who wants to share their moments of madness... will we get any former mullet wearers admit it....
okay.... my tale of woe first!... i went thru a "straight hair" phase (not many pictures of those day exist.. lol thank god) i also went thru a "mini dreds" phase... just little ones ...I thought it looked cool... lol nah!!!
no... just no!!!! 
so...... your tales of hair woes please.... if i don't get a few curly perm stories i will be disappointed!!!!  |

Ok, two bad hair styles...
1- i had my hair cut in a really really short bob, so I looked like a stoner teenage boy from the 90's
2- I got blonde highlights in my hair when they were fashionable. Never looked quite right with my dark hair and a boy in school said it made my hair look like there was straw in it  |

Did anybody else back comb their fringe til it was super high and then spray it with the best sticks like glue hairspray ever INSET! Amazing stuff. I looked like a twat lol x |

I had a mullet type of bob in my early teens in School.
Then i had long hair and a seriously back combed fringe held up by a can of hairspray sprayed all over. On a hot Summers day wasps and bees would be drawn to it.
Then i had curly perms for years. Made my hair start to fall out so had to knock that on the head.
I had my hair cut quite short and looked like a fella.
My current style is a grow out of a short bob. Never again, my hair takes ages to grow.

A disconnected style very short on the sides and back but more hair blended on the side that wasn't disconnected. Didn't look even so got a skinhead and looked worse  not trying to be a fashion icon anymore! |

I've pretty much had my hair like this since I was 16. It was short before that.
I did however have a period where I had a horrible sweep across fringe when I was a horrendous little Indy boy around 18 years old. |

I had my naturally curly hair permed & bleached in the 80's, it was huuuuuge like the Hair Bear Bunch
I've also tried to colour my brown hair straight to blonde with Sun In, which turned it a lovely shade of orange. Tried to dye it back again & ended up brown with a hint of green! |

I had that done too,early 90's my dad went mad.
Not through my own choice I had an inverted bob... It was horrendous I have naturally curly hair.. I looked like crystal tips.

Oh, and once my asshole of a brother put gum in my hair while I was sleeping so it got all matted deep into my hair and nothing we did could get it out....so for a few months I had a big patch of hair missing  |

My hair has been pretty much the same since I was old enough to decide for myself what to do with it, so no real teenage or adult embarrassments. I think it was the trauma of the 80s bowl cuts I had as a child. |

I had a big patch of hair missing when my mum had to cut out the heated styling brush that became entangled. Bloody lethal those things were, had a burnt head too  |

My hair doesn't take dye well. I tried once and ended up with the bleached orange look that took ages to grow out.
If I just let it grow and grow it takes on the curly triangle look of Crystal Tipps, which just isn't that flattering on a short fat person. The hair looks lustrous and wonderful but the style is just bonkers.
Just before my 21st I was hit about the head with an iron bar. The hospital couldn't shave it all off so I just had huge clumps of hair missing where they had to put lots of stitches in and all of it was covered in that horrible smelling plastic 'skin' to protect it all.
