Got my sons xbox one on Black Friday - was down from £249 to £229 and came with Minecraft & Forza Horizon 3 - he loves driving games
Was at Smyths.
There are deals to be had.
Plenty of brand new consoles on ebay too |

The Xbox 1s is around 200 just now but doesn't come with Kinect. Not sure of the Kinect version which is the one I have. I only ever use connect to control the telly so you may not want it. |

No, you don't. I just picked up an Xbox One Media Remote (currently listed at £18.99 at the big Internet shop) when I bought the console. I've used that a *lot* more often than I've used the Kinect!  |

Do they do the game you want on the Xbox one? As you've been playing it on the Xbox 360, not all games were made for the Xbox one.
I got my son an Xbox one with a game for 229 in October, so probably cheaper now. |

Oops, should have made it clear that I got my son the new Xbox One S, as opposed to the standard console.
Most stores aren't bringing in any new stocks of the 'older' model and tend to be only supplying the new 'S' model - which has 4K graphics |

Get Forza Horizon 3 for it. Fabulous entertainment.
Don't worry about Kinect, not needed.
It's backwards compatible with Xbox 360 games.
Don't buy games on disc - download in case it becomes a game supported on PC as well (free) |

my advice wait for the scorpio later this year it will run all 360 games and xbox one games out of the box . |
