A split second, over the weekend while my daughter played with a small wooden see-saw. in the back ground, Singing and humming the typical see-saw melody
The play of words occurred to me.
You see. Then you saw.
If you picture facing a wooden fence say in your garden, or Park. As you go up and down, you will have sight over the fence as follows.
See.
Then you
Saw.
See.
Then you
Saw.
See.
then you
saw.
See.
Then you
Saw.
Anybody else think iv stumbled on the reason it's called a see-saw
And changed your perception of life forever? |

I find it interesting when you find out the meaning behind songs and sayings,
When they are very old obviously its hard to confirm they are true but it does make you think about them,
Like ring around the roses and the black death/plague |
