I take your point, but sometimes political correctness and point scoring over terminology/labelling etc. gets in the way of the debate, which is a real shame.
So maybe revise that to say 'don't avoid, just don't bite if someone pokes you with a stick in the thread'. |

No, it's not avoid really. It's the 'knights in shining armour' syndrome on them that pees me off. People who aren't what the thread is about leaping in with all kinds of bollox 'defending the poor TV's' or whatever it is, when actually the discussion was being pretty healthy up to that point.
