Its no where near as good as Vikings in season 1 king alea was killed before Ragnar so not true according to the Viking saga,s king alea killed Ragnar in a pit of deadly snakes |

Love last kingdom, and vikings. Deffo love heathen men... It also helps that the Mr looks a bit like ragnar, 
Just wish there was more historical themed TV shows.

It's well worth the watch only thing is...it all completed by the end off the series so there is not much chance of a second series |

I was looking forward to it, as its by Bernard Cornwall, who wrote the Sharpe books which were then adapted to tv with Sean Bean.
Massively disappointed by it, watched first three episodes and it just didn't appeal to me  |
