No not a rejected Bowie track
What are your food likes that others might find a bit strange? I've heard my aunts and uncles talk about buttering weetabix when they were younger.
I'm partial to some buttered Madeira or fruit cake.
What are your choices? |

Ooh I love butter on fruit cake! Crisp and salad cream sandwiches are a fave and beans with salad cream is yummy too! Not sure they're too strange though, will have to have a think and get back if I remember any real odd ones. Miss T |

"Fois gras.
I know it's wrong and all bit I'd happily force-feed those geese myself if it got their bloated, pâté'd livers to my plate faster.
Nom.
"
I spent a week in Portugal a few years back and they had some sort of festival celebrating fois gras all week. It's one of my best food memories. One of the dishes was just liver, melted like butter on my tongue. |

"Don't know if it's weird but I love a bowl of strawberries and cubed cheese, yummy"
Of the suggestions so far this is the one I'm most willing to try.
Eating some cubed cheese after a bit of chocolate is always good so I can see this working |

"Banana and Cheddar cheese, on wholemeal bread.
Squashed sardines, with chilli, within two pieces of toast.
Tinned tuna with diced onion, toasted.
Do you want me to go on?
CM"

The top one is a bit weird but the other two sound fine to me.
I'm a great believer that most things between two slices of bread and butter work.
Lasagne sandwiches are pretty good |

I've seen someone eat a custard sandwich "
Apart from messy, that's just pudding. |

A world of my own |
Its not a like but apparently its an oddity!
I struggle to eat in other people's houses, at work, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
Sometimes I'm okay and some places I can eat out in fine. Others I feel sick at the thought and decide I can't before I even go in. There is often no logic to it
I also find its worse if I'm going through anything stressful in my life.
People mock me for my plastic cutlery stash and my hatred of McDonalds. I just can't help it.
I really wish I could as I'm sure I have offended many people over the years! It also has quite an impact on my life. |

"A bowl of hot, refried beans with salsa and sour cream. And a spoon.
Tea spoon, dessert spoon, soup spoon, plastic spoon? Would you care to expand a little on your definition of a "spoon" "
I have a long handled teaspoon, perfectly weighted for such tasty comestibles. |

"I've taken to putting truffle oil on everything! "
That is not weird. I had truffle pasta when I was in Croatia and it convinced me that truffles are the proof of a higher power and should be in all food to make it taste better. |

I like cream cheese and pate sandwiches, oats and crisp sandwiches, bubble and squeak sandwiches with melted cheese and buttered fruit bread.
Not all at the same time though.
I have eaten buttered Wheatabix, as my mum used to eat them like that. They are best with warm milk to turn them porridge like

Now there's a thing - I make Weetabix, Shreddies and Shredded Wheat with boiling water and then a drop of milk so they are hot to eat. Not encountered anyone else who has them hot |
